Summer College does not interview prospective students. Instead, we get to know you through your application statements and letter of recommendation.
Please check your program dates before applying. Missing any time during the program will put you in serious academic jeopardy. This includes arriving late, leaving early, or missing any class days. We require students to be able to attend their program in its entirety.

Important application and visa information:
1.If your first language is not English, and you've taken the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS), you need to have received a TOEFL score of at least 550 (or 100 on the Internet-based test) or at least a 7 on the IELTS to attend Summer College. These required scores reflect the minimum level of English proficiency you need to take Summer College courses. If you've not taken the TOEFL or the IELTS, you must submit a letter from a teacher telling us about your proficiency in English and your ability to succeed in college-level work in English.
2.You'll need an F-1 student visa to attend Summer College. (Students cannot study at the university on a tourist visa. Any attempt to do so, will put your enrollment in jeopardy.) To ensure there is enough time to process your F-1 visa, complete the Request for Student (F-1) Visa form and return it to us with your application and the requested documentation right away. We recommend you keep a copy of these materials. Note: The name used on this form must match the name on your admissions application and your passport.
