FRQ Macro 2015 년에 2번 (d) If the terms of trade were that 2 furnaces are exchanged for 1 solar panel, should Country X produce solar panels domestically or import solar panels from Country Y? 문제에 답이 produce domestically 입니다.  

Country X: 6 furnaces or 8 solar panels    여기서 y 는 solar panels 을 produce 할떄 terms of trade 가 1/2s < 1 furnace < 3/4s 이고 여기에 

Country Y: 6 furnaces or 12 solar panels    2 를 곱하면 1s < 2 furnaces < 3/2s 니까 exchange 할떄 1 solar panel 이 범위 안에 들어오니까 import 하는거 아닌가요? 

--> 첨부파일에 제가 계산한 opportunity cost 를 보면 y 가 o.c 가 더 낮기 때문에 solar panel을 country y 가 만들게 됩니다.

그리고 1 solar penal의 terms of trade 는 두 물건의 o.c 사이에서 결정하기 때문에 1/2F < 1 S < 3/4F 사이에서 결정이 되어야합니다. 

그런데 1 solar penel을 2 furnace로 교환하게 되면 너무 비싸지는 것이기 때문에.. X 는 자신들의 o.c 보다 높은 가격에서 물건을 사려고 하지 않고 스스로 만들겠지요! 그래서 domestic production 입니다.

그리고 같은 2015 3번 b 에 ii Yen price of the euro 가 euro 의 value 를 묻는건가요?

--> Yen price of the euro = Yen per euro euro 입니다. yen 으로 표현했을때의 euro value 입니다. 네 맞습니다!

3번 c 에 Central bank 가 buy 를 하면 그 나라 돈의 가치가 올라가는건가요? 여기서 buy euros 가 exchange market 안에 있는 돈을 사서 돈의 양을 줄이는 건가요? 돈을 산게 money supply 가 줄어서 int 가 올라가 value of euro 가 올라가는거로 되는건가요?

--> buy euros = 말그대로 euro demand를 올리는 것입니다. 그러면 increase in demand for euro = appreciation of euro 가 되겠지요!.
