Hello, Mr. Bae! I've been working on Toefl lately, for 20 days! Now, I am back to SAT. I am trying to gain the SAT 'sensor' back now ;)
1. I have a question on the paired questions 4 and 5.
I thought A for 4 and B for 5 could possibly be an answer if I think about like this.
In your lecture, we left B for 5 as a possible answer choice. A on 4 says, " his friend's and neighbor's opinions". I thought we can infer Papa was afraid of Baez finding out that his daughter was writing a rebellious poem,
However, I thought it could also not be an answer for it has the word, "neighbor" while Baez is not Papa's neighbor. Or maybe, the focus of answer choice A was concerning the opinion of the public.
Can you clarify this?
2. I want some advice from you on my studies for SAT. While I want to be fully committed to SAT, I am afraid that the test would be canceled. I really enjoy studying it for it has increased my critical reading skills and structured a big frame of grammer concepts on me. My college admission starts on July, so I only have 3 chances to take SAT. So my thoughts are, 'If the test get cancelled, wouldn't my time and energy be a little waste?' Fortunately, I am currently living in Vietnam, where we are relatively safe from COVID-19. I was able to take SAT on December. I really want to continue studying SAT, could you give me a word of encouragement to keep studying? Because, inside I know that I would regret if I stop at this point.
