You need to focus on sentence connection. It is NOT because of that single sentence, but the sentence prior to that sentence that makes everything comprehensible.

4. cattle doesn't necessarily refer ONLY to the cow group. It also generally means livestock.
Plus, you need to learn to compare answer choices. Just because of that one word, it doesn't make another option choice(which is clearly wrong) better.
