Then, you explained that the occipital lobe and the temporal lobe interpretes vision and sound using the visual and auditory cortex.

Then what is the function of the parietal lobe? 

Does it overlap with the functions of the occipital lobe and the temporal lobe, 

because vision and sound both count as senses? I am confused
