Hi!
In question 19 of Reading test 4, can D (absurd) not be an answer? Although absurd means ridiculous, there is also a second meaning, irrational. I thought irrational can also replace obsolete in the sentence.
Thank you :)
Hello there~
Even if absurd has a second meaning of "irrational," it still wouldn't make sense because robots' sophistication isn't making human employees IRRATIONAL.
The context is trying to say that they will become unnecessary.
