GDP per capita가 높다고 해서 standard of living이 꼭 높아지는 건 아니죠.

미국이 한국보다 GDP per capita가 높지만 미국 사람이 반드시  higher standard of living 을 갖고 있는 건 아니죠

미국을 생각해보면, 

non-economic factors:  racism, mass shootings, crime rates, drug abuse 등이 standard of living을 떨어뜨리게 되죠.

반대로 한국보다 GDP per capita가 낮지만 더 높은 standard of living을 갖고 있는 나라도 있을 수 있죠

beautiful landscape, plenty of leisure time, clean environment 등이 있는 나라라면 그럴 수 있겠죠?
