IB international economics 인강을 들으면서 궁금한 점이 생겨서요.
International economics 4페이지에서 production /consumption with/without trade에 대한 설명을 들을 때,
왜 ppc가 straight line curve인지 이해가 잘 가지 않아요. ppc의 slope는 opportunity cost에 의해 결정되니까 straight line ppc curve는 constant opportunity cost인가요?
학교 교과서를 봤는데, specialization이 일어나는 production after specialization (with trade based on absolute advantage)에서도 straight line 이더라고요. specialization이 일어났는데도 왜 straight line 인지 궁금해요.
--> 안녕하세요! 학생분~ 반갑습니다. 네네~ 맞습니다. PPC curve의 slope은 x-axis에 있는 product의 OC이지요? 그래서 Costant OC = constant slope --> straight-line PPC입니다. comp./abs. advantages 이론을 설명할때는 여러가지의 단순한 assumption을 하거든요. 그중에 하나가 constant OC입니다. 그래서 straight-line PPC로 trade를 분석하는 것입니다. 가정이니 받아드리고 개념 이해하시면 됩니다!
