I was slightly confused at the question because I thought the narrator was different from the main character in the case of this question. When the word narrator shows up in the question but the story is in third person point of view, does the word 'narrator' always refer to the main character? Thank you so much ><

Hey! Thanks again for the question! Great observation! This was a typo - the question should have read “character” not “narrator”.

The narrator is not a character in the story (unless the story is written in the first person - I or We).
