The question was to choose the word which has the closest meaning to "form" in line 42 and given choices included structure, measure, shape, and method. I knew that structure and shape could not be the answers for the question. BUT I was confused of measure and method as measure also can mean a way of doing something or a method. So I finally chose measure and got it wrong. The thing I wanna ask you is the difference in using measure and method. Since they have a similar meaning, I could not differentiate when it is appropriate to use measure and method. Thank you:)

Please mention the question # and also exactly which test the question is from~ (EX: Test 1, test 2, test 3)

 

Without looking at the question right now, all I can tell you is that SAT vocab questions are NOT ABOUT just the meaning of the vocab, but more about the WORD USAGE.

Basically, although measure and method can have similar meaning, one will be used over another depending on the context.
