Ribozymes (ribonucleic acid enzymes) are RNA molecules that have the ability to catalyze specific biochemical reactions, including RNA splicing in gene expression, similar to the action of protein enzyme.
이 밑줄 친 부분이 snRNP 입니다. snRNP는 Ribozyme의 한 종류입니다 ^^
snRNPs (pronounced "snurps"), or small nuclear ribonucleoproteins, are RNA-protein complexes that combine with unmodified pre-mRNA and various other proteins to form a spliceosome, a large RNA-protein molecular complex upon which splicing of pre-mRNA occurs.
snRNPs와 여러 다른 protein들이 붙어서 spliceosome을 이룹니다.
