In the Ho Chi MInh passage, Question 5 asks to describe the attitude of French colonialists in lines 47-48.

You said that the answer is B) Fawning, but didn't explain why it's not C) hospitable or D) Redundant.

Since I chose C as my answer, can you explain why hospitable cannot be the answer?

You described the word as 'welcoming, and being a nice host' in the video, and in lines 47-48,

the French colonialists are indeed welcoming Japanese to Vietnam.

Hi

You have to read the whole thing. Looking at only the evidence that validates your choice will lead to a wrong answer.^^

They got down on "their bended knees" to welcome the Japanese

Hospitable might be OK, but fawning is better because they are on their knees.

Bended knees is too strong for hospitable.  Redundant is a garbage answer. Thanks for your question.
