 For #38, how does stomata transport water to mesophyll cells? isn't Stomata just a hole for water to flow in? How does stomata directly transport the water to mesophyll cells?

For #53, I get that the answer can be D, but can't it also be E, because doesn't Auxin stimulate the cells to elongate towards the light?

For #38 the answer is D. Sorry to give confusion. It will be corrected during the retake. 

 

For #53 , 

because the light is not mentioned in the question, we cannot say that the light is the causation for the plant to move. You have the knowledge that Auxin is the hormone that are involved in phototropism, but in this questions you have to solve the problems based on the information given.
