Title [Ki Young Song] LEQ Feedback Requested
송기영 선생님의 MCQ로 정리하는 AP U.S. History Part.1(Unit.1~5) 23강 완성 1

Hello!

To prepare for the AP exam, I did a practice LEQ and I would love to get it "scored" by you and get some feedback.

I would especially appreciate feedback on forming a good thesis, linking the historical context skill point (like cause and effect, change vs continuity, etc) to my overall essay, and help on formatting the conclusion.

I understand that you are busy since it is APUSH exam season, but I would truly appreciate getting a general "score" you would give me if you were to grade this, and feedback!

I have attached my LEQ and the prompt is also inside the attached file in bold.

Sincerely,

ksj

As you know, it's AP season, so I'm very busy and it's difficult for me to personally review and revise essays. Even under normal circumstances, essay feedback takes a lot of time, so I usually charge a separate fee for that service.

However, with the recent rapid development of AI, I tried asking ChatGPT to evaluate your essay, and the results were quite impressive. The feedback was not much different from my own, and I believe it can be a useful reference. If you ask specific questions - such as for an evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of your essay, ways to improve its weaknesses, or how to raise your score - ChatGPT will provide detailed answers. I recommend using it as a helpful tool.

Category Score Evaluation
Thesis / Claim ✅ 1/1 Clear thesis addressing the prompt with two specific points (conflict & regulation).
Contextualization ✅ 1/1 Provides relevant background on pre-1754 settler expansion and Native conflicts.
Evidence ✅ 2/2 Multiple accurate examples (e.g., Proclamation of 1763, Northwest Ordinance) well connected to the argument.
Analysis & Reasoning ✅ 1/2 Basic cause-and-effect reasoning is present, but lacks complexity and deeper analysis.
Total 5/6 Strong structure and evidence, but missing nuanced analysis for a higher score.
