I have noticed that these vocabularies of "business vs firms vs organizations" used in same context numerous times. Although I acknowledge the existing differences, I wanted to be specified on the definitions, similarities, and differences for each ones in business context:) Thank you!
2024-02-09 오후 4:22:25 안녕하세요! Business 와 firm은 같은 의미로 쓰이는 말이 맞습니다. Organization은 그 둘보다는 조금 더 큰 범위로, 회사뿐 아니라 사람들이 모여서 특정 목적을 위해 운영되는 모든 종류의 그룹을 얘기해요. 그러니까 Commercial purpose를 지닌 organizations들이 business organization 또는 firm이라고 정의될수 있죠. 1.2 Types of organizations라고 얘기할때는 profit-based business뿐 아니라 NGO같은 social enterprise들까지 포함하기 때문에 organizations라고 통틀어 챕터명이 정해진거예요^^
