아래는 college board 에서 준 course and exam description 입니다. 많은 교과서와 참고서들이 다 다른 표현들을 쓰고 있지만, course and exam description이 가장 정확해요.
( 파일 첨부) 그 파일을 펴서, 꼼꼼이 읽어보세요. 거기에 나온 내용 (특히 표현들, 단어들 )이 칼리지 보드에서 ap bio course라고 규정짓고, 그 안에서 자주 쓰이는 표현들과 단어들입니다. 물론 거기에 더 살을 붙여서 공부해야합니다만, 기본적으로 course and exam description에 나오는 표현들을 외우면, frq 쓰기가 훨씬 편합니다. 

거기 p 199 을 펴면, frq  verb에 관련된 페이지가 있어요. 각 task verb의 정확한 용도를 익히십시오. 
그래서 task verb가 요구하는 것을 정확하게 답하면 됩니다. 

예를 들면,describe 은 그 topic 에 대한 characteristic을 제공하며, 설명 묘사 하는거고, explanation은  information을 provide을하고, 그 infomation이 어떻게 (HOW or WHY)  그 claim을 support하는지 reasoning 하는거에요. 적어도 2문장 이상 ( information Provide, and HOW or WHY) 되어야겠지요.    ( 제가 이 explanation 때문에 친구들에게 어린 남동생에게 설명하듯 ,논리적으로 비약하지 말고, 한 step도 빼먹지 말고, step by step 쓰는게 좋다고 했어요. 뭐라도 자세히 쓰면 칼리지보드가 원하는 답이 있을 가능성이 크니까) 

아래 example들을 봅시다. 

Describe how amino acids are categorized by their chemical properties.

 - ( amino acid의 chemical property 는 R group에 의해 determine되죠? 그 R group이 어떻게 categorize되나요? )

• 답 : Based on their R groups, amino acids are categorized as hydrophobic,  hydrophilic, or ionic (acidic or basic). -> 다 course and exam description에 나온 표현들입니다. 샘 개념 강의 듣고, course and exam description을 읽고 외우세요. 

Explain how a change in the amino acid sequence of the Lactase enzyme protein could decrease the ability of the protein to bind to its substrate.

 - ( information given : change in amino acid sequece --> (이걸 이용해서 biological principle (knowlege based) 을 씁니다  change in the shape of a protein -> (WHY?  because, shape of protein is held by interaction between the amino acid 's R goup),  이것이 HOW 어떻게 decrease ability of the protein to bind to its substrate 하지? 아, substrate binding site가 모양이 바뀐거구나. 

• 답 :  A change in amino acid sequence changes the shape of a protein, so that substrate-binding sites/ active sites formed by the interactions of certain amino acids may change or be lost entirely. --> 다 course and exam description에 나온 표현들입니다. 샘 개념 강의 듣고, course and exam description을 읽고 외우세요. 


이런식으로 연습해보시고요..

특히, p 197, 198에 frq template 이 나와요. 2021, 2022, 2023 이 3개년도가 이 바뀐 template에 맞게 나온 frq 입니다 ( 2023 해설강의 1월 혹은 2월초에 촬영예정)
그 3개년도를  풀기 전에, 아래 template을 익히고, 시험 문제 풀어보세요. 뭘 써야할지. 더 명확히 보일겁니다.
