(X) => I like to swim, dance and cook (O) => I like to swim, to dance and to cook (O) C와 D를 어떻게 구분하는지 잘 모르겠습니다. 예를 들어서, C의 예문을 보면 The mechanic did a better wiring job on our car than Kyle’s. (X) => The mechanic did a better wiring job on our car than on Kyle’s. (O) 라고 되어있는데, D처럼 list라고 생각하면 our car에만 on을 붙이고 Kyle's에는 on을 붙이지 않아도 되는 것 아닌가요?

The mechanic did a better job on our car than Kylie's... 라고 쓰면 (on 없이)... 해석이 it could mean that "the mechanic did a better job on our car than the job that kylie's (mechanic) did on our car... 즉, mechanic가 두 사람이고 우리가 아는 mechanic가 kylie가 아는 mechanic 보다 우리 차를 더 잘 고쳤다... 라는 전혀 다른 뜻의 문장이 될 수 있습니다. 즉, 이 경우 Kylie's의 aportrophy s ('s)가 Kylie's car를 말하는지 Kylie's mechanic를 말하는지가 불확실 해진다는 뜻이죠. 아니면 다른 방향으로 보면 C.는 first in a series of parallel items (When an article or a preposition appears before the first in a series of parallel items, repeat the word before others in the series.) D.는 in a list라고 쓰여있죠? (When using an article or preposition in a list, ) 두 가지 경우가 엄연히 다른거죠? Hope this helps~
